If you're able to pee and if you bleed during your period, then breathe a sigh of relief — you have the holes you're supposed to have! When you have some privacy, look at your vulva (the external part of your vagina) with a hand mirror. Open your labia (a.k.a. vaginal lips) and look around. You won't be able to stick your finger into your urethral opening (the one you pee out of) because it's too small, but you might be able to see it. Underneath your urethral opening is your (larger) vaginal opening. That's the hole that menstrual blood flows from, where intercourse happens, and where babies pass through to be born. It's stretchy to accommodate all these different functions! Feel around a bit — after all, it's your body.
My breasts are so weird! They’re pointy — not round at all, and they don't stay in my bra. Why is that? —Allison, 16, Malden, MA
Just because you may have seen airbrushed pictures of roundbreasted models doesn't mean that everyone’s breasts are like that. Breasts and nipples come in all shapes and sizes, and pointy is just one of them. (I know because I have them too!) And if your boobs pop out of your bra, it's not because your breasts are weird — you probably just need a better bra. Take advantage of the free bra measuring service offered by the lingerie staff at most department stores and give your breasts a good home!
I have an itchy bottom most of the time. Do I have worms? —Erica, 14, London, MS
You might. Sometimes itching is caused by adult pinworms laying eggs around your anus — yuck, but pretty common. Pinworms are spread when people don't wash their hands after using the bathroom. Their dirty fingers touch doorknobs and sinks, leaving behind microscopic worm eggs, which can find their way into your food and your mouth. Even if you're a clean freak, you can easily pick them up unknowingly and become infected. But don't worry — your doctor can prescribe medicine to get rid of them quickly.
The female body has many different parts from a male body. Female body parts should always be respected, and are a part of why women are able to create and bear children, much like men can't. Female body parts include breasts, a vagina, ovaries, a cervix, the uterus, and the fallopian tubes. Male bodies don't have the same body parts as women's do. Also, the similar body parts that men and women do have, are not typically in the same spots as men's organs.
When teaching students about the parts of the female body, the simplest approach to take is one of analyzing the external and internal features. To avoid embarrassment and straying from the overall topic, consider using a strictly scientific approach by explaining the anatomy and physiology and avoiding reference to sexual health and activity. Educational charts and diagrams can be helpful to further illustrate the overall anatomy.

Instructions
Open the lesson by reminding students that the purpose of the lesson is to learn the anatomy and physiology of the human body, and that disrespectful or obscene comments will not be tolerated.
Discuss with students the primary differences between the male and female body. Primary differences include the ability to conceive and bear children and feed infants.
Place on the board a chart of the external anatomy of the vagina. The chart or drawing should include the anus, perineum, vaginal opening, labia minora, labia majora, urethral opening, and clitoris. When pointing out the anatomy of each external part, give a brief description of its physiology.
Place a chart of the internal reproductive organs on the board. This chart or drawing should include the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix and vagina. Point out the anatomy and physiology of each part, and consider mentioning its overall purpose in reproduction. For example, the uterus is where babies gestate for an average of 40 weeks.
Place a chart of the external and internal anatomy of the breast on the board. This chart should include the ducts, lobules, nipple, fat, and pectorals major. Consider taking advantage of this chart to explain the physiology of milk production, which is an excellent tie-in for the overall circulatory system.
Close the lecture by assigning the students the task of creating and labeling their own diagrams.
